These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hudhud website at hudhudhealth.ae, its Arabic and English pages, the Hudhud WhatsApp number, our alert messages and emails, and every related feature and service (together, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important provisions that limit our liability (Section 17), exclude warranties (Section 16), require you to indemnify us in certain cases (Section 18), and set the governing law and courts for disputes (Section 21).
Part A — Terms for everyone
1. Who we are
1.1 The Service is operated by Jasmine Entertainment FZE LLC, a free zone establishment registered in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, with its address at Publishing City, Business Center, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("Hudhud", "we", "us", "our").
1.2 You can contact us at [email protected]. Notices to us under these Terms must be sent to that address.
2. Accepting these Terms
2.1 These Terms apply whenever you use the Service. You accept them, together with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms, when you set an Alert, send a message to the Hudhud Number, submit a form, or claim a Listing or subscribe as a Facility.
2.2 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2.3 If you use the Service on behalf of a company, clinic, hospital, pharmacy or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" includes that organisation.
3. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Facility" means a clinic, polyclinic, hospital, day-surgery centre, pharmacy, diagnostic centre, home-healthcare provider, wellness provider or other business that appears on, or asks to appear on, the Service.
- "Facility User" means a person who uses the Service on behalf of a Facility, including to claim a listing, add a WhatsApp number, subscribe, request removal or submit a licence number.
- "Listing" means a page, card, row or other entry on the Service that describes a Facility or what it offers.
- "Listing Information" means the information we display about a Facility or its offers, including names, services, prices, stock indications, areas, opening details, licence or register details, "checked" dates and links to sources.
- "Official Source" means a page or record we rely on for Listing Information, such as a Facility's own website, a pharmacy's product page, a booking page or a public register published by a health authority.
- "Alert" means a message we send you by WhatsApp or email about a change you asked us to watch, such as a price, a stock status or an availability.
- "Hudhud Number" means the WhatsApp number we operate for the Service.
- "Subscription" means a paid plan a Facility buys from us under Part B.
- "User Content" means anything you send or submit to us, including messages, forms, removal requests, licence numbers, notes and feedback.
4. What Hudhud is, and what it is not
4.1 Hudhud is an information directory. We collect publicly available information from Official Sources, organise it, and display it so that people in the UAE can compare health and wellness services, prices and availability. We also let you set Alerts and let you contact Facilities through the Hudhud Number.
4.2 Hudhud is not a healthcare provider. We are not a clinic, hospital, pharmacy, laboratory, telehealth service or medical practitioner, and we do not hold a healthcare facility licence. Nobody at Hudhud examines, diagnoses, treats, prescribes for or advises any person.
4.3 No medical advice. Nothing on the Service is medical, pharmaceutical, nutritional or other health advice, a recommendation, a diagnosis or an opinion on whether a treatment, medicine, product, procedure or Facility is suitable, safe or effective for you or for anyone. The Service shows facts that others have published, and the dates on which we read them. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping or changing any treatment, medicine, programme or procedure, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read on the Service.
4.4 No relationship of care. Using the Service, contacting a Facility through it, or receiving an Alert does not create a doctor–patient, pharmacist–patient or any other healthcare relationship between you and Hudhud.
4.5 Prescription-only medicines. Some medicines that appear on the Service, including GLP-1 medicines and certain peptides, may only be supplied in the UAE under a valid prescription from a licensed physician and in accordance with UAE law. Hudhud does not sell, supply, dispense, store or deliver any medicine or medical product, and does not accept payment from manufacturers, distributors or pharmacies for how medicines are shown. Any reference to a medicine is a neutral statement of what an Official Source lists, at the price and with the status the source showed when we read it. Whether a medicine or treatment is appropriate for you, and whether it may lawfully be supplied to you, is solely a matter between you, your physician and the licensed Facility.
4.6 No bookings, sales or payments for care. Hudhud does not take bookings, sell services, accept payment for any treatment, medicine or product, or act as agent for any Facility. Any appointment, purchase, treatment or payment is a transaction solely between you and the Facility, on that Facility's terms.
4.7 Independence from authorities. Hudhud is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCR), the Emirates Drug Establishment, or any other government body or regulator. A register check shown on the Service reports what a public register showed when we looked; it is not a licence, certificate, approval or seal issued by or on behalf of any authority.
4.8 No endorsement. The appearance of a Facility on the Service, its position in any list, its licence indication or any sort order does not mean that we endorse, recommend, vouch for or guarantee that Facility, its practitioners, its services, its prices or its products.
4.9 Emergencies. The Service is not for emergencies. If you or someone else may need urgent medical help, call 998 (ambulance) or 999 (police), or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use the Hudhud Number or any Alert to seek urgent help.
5. Who may use the Service
5.1 You must be at least 18 years old to set an Alert, send a message to the Hudhud Number, submit any form or subscribe. The Service is not directed at children.
5.2 The Service is designed for people and businesses in the United Arab Emirates. Some features, such as WhatsApp Alerts, work only with UAE mobile numbers. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
5.3 You must not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under any applicable law, or if we have previously suspended or ended your access.
6. The information we show
6.1 How we gather it. We read Official Sources automatically and by hand, using software that includes automated systems and artificial-intelligence models to extract and organise information. We apply checks before we publish, but these processes are not perfect and are not reviewed by a medical professional.
6.2 Information can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Listing Information, including prices, packages, inclusions, stock indications, opening hours, licence or register details and "checked" dates, reflects what an Official Source showed at the time we last read it, as we understood it. It may have changed since, may have been wrong at the source, may have been misread by us, or may omit conditions, fees, taxes, eligibility criteria or exclusions that apply. A "checked" date shows when we last read a source; it is not a promise that the information is current.
6.3 Prices. Prices on the Service are for comparison only. They are not offers by Hudhud or by the Facility, and we do not guarantee that a Facility will honour any price shown. Unless the Service clearly says otherwise, a price may or may not include value added tax or other charges, and may depend on consultation, eligibility, dose, duration or other conditions set by the Facility. Always confirm the final price directly with the Facility before you commit.
6.4 Stock and availability. A statement such as "listed as in stock" means only that an Official Source listed the item as available when we read it. It does not mean the item is available to you, reserved for you, available without a prescription, or available at a particular branch.
6.5 Licence and register checks. A licence or register indication means that, when we checked, we found a record on a public register that we matched to the Facility using our own matching rules. Our matching can be wrong, particularly for groups with many branches or similar names. A label saying that we have not found or not yet confirmed a register record, or the absence of an indication, means only that our check has not yet linked the Listing to a register record. It is not a statement that a Facility is unlicensed. A Facility can send us its licence number and we will re-check it. An indication also does not mean and an indication does not mean that a Facility is licensed for any particular service, practitioner or medicine. If a licence matters to your decision, check it yourself with the relevant authority.
6.6 Order, sorting and labels. We decide how Listings are ordered and grouped using our own editorial rules and the sort options you choose. A Facility cannot pay to change its position in the ordinary (organic) order, to receive or keep a licence indication, or to have a flag removed. If we show paid placements, they will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored" or similar.
6.7 Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for any decision you make using the Service. Before relying on any Listing Information you must verify it directly with the Facility and, where relevant, with your physician and the relevant authority.
6.8 Translations and illustrations. We translate and transliterate Listing Information between English and Arabic, partly by automated means, and translations may contain errors; the Official Source prevails. Illustrations and artwork on the Service are decorative. They do not depict any actual Facility, practitioner, medicine, product, packaging or result.
6.9 Corrections. If you believe any Listing Information is wrong, please tell us at [email protected]. We will look at it, but we are not obliged to change, correct or remove anything, or to do so within any particular time.
7. Alerts
7.1 Signing up. You can ask us to watch a price, stock status or availability and send you Alerts by WhatsApp or email. We will ask you to confirm the number or address you give us, by a code or a link. By confirming, you agree to receive Alerts and the service messages that go with them (such as confirmations and notices of changes to the Service) at that number or address.
7.2 Your number or address. You confirm that the number or address you give us is yours, or that you have the permission of its owner to use it. You must not sign up anyone else without their permission.
7.3 Stopping. You can stop Alerts at any time on the alerts page, by replying STOP (or إيقاف / توقف) to any WhatsApp message, or by using the link in any Alert email. Replying PAUSE stops Alerts for a week. After you stop, we may send one message confirming that you have stopped.
7.4 Timing. We try to send Alerts promptly, but we may hold some Alerts until outside quiet hours, combine them, or send them late. An Alert reflects what a source showed when we read it, which may already have changed when you receive it. We may decide not to send an Alert if we are not confident in a change.
7.5 No guarantee. Alerts are a free convenience. We do not guarantee that any Alert will be sent, delivered, read in time, accurate or complete, or that an item will still be available or at the price shown when you act on it. We are not responsible for any loss caused by an Alert that is late, missed, wrong or never sent.
7.6 Charges from others. Your mobile operator, internet provider or WhatsApp may charge you for data or messages. Those charges are your responsibility.
8. Contacting a Facility through Hudhud
8.1 How it works. Where a Listing shows a WhatsApp button, tapping it opens a chat with the Hudhud Number, not with the Facility. When you send that message, we:
(a) reply to you with a link that, if you tap it, opens a WhatsApp chat between you and the Facility, with a message pre-filled for you to send or edit;
(b) tell the Facility that someone asked about the service named in your message. If the Facility has added its WhatsApp number with us, it receives a card with the service, a reference code and a link that opens a chat with your WhatsApp number. If it has not, it receives an email with the service and a reference code, without your number or name; and
(c) may send you one follow-up message about three days later asking how it went, with buttons you can tap or ignore.
8.2 Your consent. By sending a message to the Hudhud Number about a Facility, you ask us to put you in touch with that Facility and you expressly consent to us processing your message and WhatsApp details for that purpose, including sharing your WhatsApp number with that Facility as described above, and to receiving the reply and follow-up described in Section 8.1. If you do not want the Facility to receive your number, do not use the WhatsApp button; use the Facility's website instead. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
8.3 Do not send health details. The Hudhud Number is a connection service, not a medical channel. Please do not send us symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, test results, photographs, identity documents or any other health or sensitive information. We do not pass your own words on to the Facility, and we may delete any such information we receive.
8.4 We step out. After we connect you, your conversation is between you and the Facility, on the Facility's own number. We do not monitor, read, store or take part in that conversation and we are not responsible for it, for whether or when the Facility replies, or for anything the Facility says, offers, charges, does or fails to do.
8.5 Your dealings with Facilities. Any information, appointment, consultation, prescription, treatment, product, payment, refund or dispute is solely between you and the Facility. The Facility alone is responsible for the healthcare it provides, its compliance with law and its handling of your personal data once it has received it. Hudhud is not a party to those dealings and is not responsible for a Facility's acts or omissions.
8.6 Availability of the button. Whether a WhatsApp button appears for a Facility depends on our own rules, including whether the Facility has a Subscription. Its presence or absence says nothing about the quality, safety or licence of the Facility.
9. Removal requests, licence numbers and other submissions
9.1 You may ask us to remove a Facility's Listing, or send us a Facility's licence number, using the forms on the Service. You must only do so if you are authorised to act for that Facility, and the information you give must be true.
9.2 We review every request and decide what to do in our reasonable discretion. We may ask for proof of your authority. We are not obliged to act on a request within any particular time, or at all, unless the law requires it.
9.3 Submitting a false, misleading or malicious request, including a request to remove a competitor's Listing, is a serious breach of these Terms.
10. Acceptable use
10.1 You must use the Service lawfully, in good faith and only for its intended purpose. You must not, and must not attempt to, help or allow anyone else to:
(a) use the Service in breach of any law, regulation or the rights of any person;
(b) copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, index, mirror, frame or extract any part of the Service or its data by automated means (including bots, spiders, scripts and AI agents), except for ordinary search-engine indexing that follows our robots.txt file, or as we have permitted in writing;
(c) reproduce, republish, sell, license or commercially exploit any substantial part of the Service or its data, including our price, stock and licence compilations, or use it to build or train a competing product, database or AI model;
(d) send messages to the Hudhud Number, or trigger confirmation codes, Alerts or emails, that are automated, repetitive, abusive, fraudulent, spam, or intended to harm us, a Facility or any person, or to use up a Facility's free messages;
(e) give false information, impersonate any person or Facility, or misrepresent your authority or affiliation;
(f) interfere with, disrupt, overload, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or its networks, or bypass any security, rate limit, access control or restriction;
(g) upload or transmit viruses, malicious code or any material designed to harm a system;
(h) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service, except where the law expressly permits it;
(i) use the Service to advertise or promote any medicine, medical product, treatment or service in breach of UAE law, or to publish any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, threatening, hateful or that infringes anyone's rights;
(j) use the Service to collect personal data about other users or Facility staff; or
(k) present any Listing Information, licence indication or "checked" date as an official certification, or suggest that Hudhud endorses you or your business.
10.2 We may monitor use of the Service for security, abuse and compliance, and we may block, rate-limit or ignore any request or message that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
11.1 Our rights. The Service and everything in it that we create, including its design, layout, text, translations, artwork and illustrations, logos, the Hudhud name and seal, software, and the selection, arrangement and compilation of Listing Information (including our price, stock and licence datasets), are owned by or licensed to Jasmine Entertainment FZE LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws of the UAE and other countries, including the laws protecting copyright, databases and trademarks. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
11.2 Your licence. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, and for a Facility, to use the features made available to it, in each case in accordance with these Terms. You may share links to pages on the Service.
11.3 Third-party material. Names, trademarks and logos of Facilities, medicines, manufacturers and other third parties belong to their owners. We use them only to identify those parties and their offers. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them. Facts published by Official Sources remain subject to the rights of those sources.
11.4 Feedback. If you send us suggestions, ideas or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use them for any purpose without obligation to you.
11.5 User Content. You keep any rights you have in your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, process, translate and use it as needed to operate, secure, improve and enforce the Service and these Terms, and as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to give us your User Content and that it does not breach any law or anyone's rights.
12. Third-party services and links
12.1 The Service relies on, and links to, services and websites operated by others, including WhatsApp (operated by Meta), Facility websites, public registers, email providers and Stripe. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or terms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies, and is at your own risk.
12.2 A link to a third-party website is provided for convenience only and does not mean we endorse that website or anything on it.
13. Availability and changes to the Service
13.1 We may change, add to, suspend or stop any part of the Service at any time, including which Facilities, services, areas, medicines and features it covers, with or without notice.
13.2 We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control.
14. Suspension and termination
14.1 You may stop using the Service at any time.
14.2 We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Service, block your number or address, hide or remove any User Content, and refuse any future use, at any time and without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, that your use creates a risk or possible legal exposure for us or others, or that we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
14.3 Sections 4, 6, 8.4, 8.5, 10, 11, 14 to 23 and Part B (to the extent it concerns amounts owed, indemnities, liability and data) survive the end of these Terms or of your use of the Service.
15. Changes to these Terms
15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, the law or our business. We will publish the updated Terms on the Service with a new "Last updated" date.
15.2 If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to tell you before it takes effect, for example by a notice on the Service or, for Facility Users with a Subscription, by email at least thirty (30) days in advance.
15.3 If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you accept them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and, if you are a Facility with a Subscription, you may cancel it under Part B.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
16.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, all Listing Information, Alerts and everything else provided through the Service are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, representation, condition or guarantee of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise.
16.2 Without limiting Section 16.1, we do not warrant or represent that:
(a) any Listing Information, price, stock indication, licence or register indication, "checked" date or Alert is accurate, complete, current or reliable;
(b) any Facility is licensed, qualified, competent, safe, available or suitable for any purpose, or will reply to you, honour a price or provide any service or product;
(c) any medicine, treatment, product or procedure is safe, effective, lawful to supply to you or suitable for you;
(d) the Service will meet your requirements, be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that defects will be corrected; or
(e) any message, Alert, lead or email will be sent, delivered or received.
16.3 We exclude all implied warranties and conditions, including of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any non-excludable rights you have as a consumer under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection or other applicable law.
17. Limitation of liability
17.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability to the extent that it cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law (which, depending on the circumstances, may include liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by a harmful act). Every limitation and exclusion in these Terms applies only to the extent the law permits.
17.2 Subject to Section 17.1, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Hudhud, Jasmine Entertainment FZE LLC and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors and suppliers (the "Hudhud Parties") will not be liable to you or to anyone claiming through you for:
(a) any decision you make or action you take, or do not take, based on the Service, including any decision about your health, a treatment, a medicine or a Facility;
(b) any act or omission of a Facility, a practitioner, a pharmacy, a manufacturer or any other third party, including the quality, safety, legality, price, availability or outcome of any healthcare, treatment, medicine, product or service they provide or fail to provide;
(c) any inaccuracy, error, omission or delay in any Listing Information, Alert, register check or other content, including content taken from an Official Source;
(d) any Alert or message that is not sent, delivered or received, or is sent late;
(e) any failure, interruption, suspension or unavailability of the Service, or any loss or corruption of data;
(f) any third-party service, including WhatsApp, Meta, Stripe, email providers, hosting providers and public registers;
(g) any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, patients or anticipated savings; or
(h) any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage,
in each case even if we were told of the possibility of that loss.
17.3 Overall cap. Subject to Section 17.1, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of the Hudhud Parties arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms, for all claims together and whatever their cause, will not exceed:
(a) for a person who has not paid us anything, five hundred UAE dirhams (AED 500); and
(b) for a Facility, the greater of AED 500 and the total fees the Facility actually paid to us under Part B in the twelve (12) months before the event that first gave rise to liability.
17.4 Free service. You acknowledge that the Service is provided to consumers free of charge, that the limitations in this Section 17 are reasonable in that light, and that we would not provide the Service without them.
17.5 Tell us promptly. Please tell us promptly in writing of any claim, so that we can try to resolve it under Section 21.2.
17.6 Each limitation in this Section 17 is separate. If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply, and the unenforceable part applies to the maximum extent the law allows.
18. Indemnity
18.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Hudhud Parties from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
(a) your breach of these Terms or of any law;
(b) your User Content;
(c) your deliberate misuse of the Service, including any false submission, false removal request or impersonation; or
(d) for a Facility, the matters set out in Section 30.
18.2 We will tell you of any claim for which we seek an indemnity and may choose to control its defence, in which case you will cooperate with us at your cost.
19. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the Service, write to us at [email protected] with enough detail for us to understand it. We will acknowledge it and try to resolve it fairly. A complaint about the care, products, prices or conduct of a Facility should be made to that Facility and, where appropriate, to the relevant health authority.
20. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including failures of third-party services or networks (including WhatsApp, Meta, email, payment and hosting providers), changes to Official Sources or public registers, power or internet outages, cyber attacks, acts of government or regulators, changes in law, epidemics, war, civil unrest and natural events.
21. Governing law and disputes
21.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Sharjah.
21.2 Before starting any proceedings, you agree to write to us at [email protected] describing the dispute, and both of us will try in good faith to resolve it within thirty (30) days.
21.3 Subject to Section 21.4, the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
21.4 If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section 21 deprives you of the protection of any mandatory provision of the law of the place where you live, or of any right to bring proceedings in the courts of that place, that cannot be removed by agreement.
22. General
22.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any other terms we expressly incorporate (including any order or checkout terms for a Subscription) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreements, understandings or statements about it.
22.2 Order of precedence. If there is a conflict, Part B prevails over Part A for Facility Users on matters concerning Facilities and Subscriptions.
22.3 Language. These Terms are written in English and may also be provided in Arabic. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the two, the English version prevails, to the extent permitted by law.
22.4 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
22.5 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, or delay in doing so, we have not waived it.
22.6 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer ours, including to an affiliate or a buyer of all or part of our business, and may use subcontractors to perform our obligations.
22.7 No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise or employment relationship between you and us, or between us and any Facility.
22.8 Third-party rights. Except for the Hudhud Parties, who may rely on Sections 16 to 18, no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
22.9 Notices. We may send you notices by email, WhatsApp or by posting them on the Service. You must send notices to us by email to [email protected].
22.10 Electronic acceptance. You agree that your acceptance of these Terms by electronic means, and our electronic records, are valid and binding in accordance with UAE law on electronic transactions.

Part B — Additional terms for Facilities
Part B applies in addition to Part A. It binds a Facility from the moment a Facility User claims its Listing, adds a WhatsApp number, submits a licence number or removal request for it, or subscribes, and you accept Part B on the Facility's behalf when you do so. Sections 24.1 to 24.3 describe how we run the directory for every Facility, whether or not it has accepted these Terms.
24. Listings
24.1 We list from public information. Hudhud is an independent directory. We may create, keep and update a Listing for any Facility from information published in Official Sources, without the Facility's request or consent, and we are not obliged to list any Facility or any of its offers.
24.2 Editorial control. We decide in our sole discretion what appears on the Service and how, including which offers, prices and facts are shown, how they are worded and translated, the order of Listings, licence and register indications, flags, holds and labels. These decisions are editorial and are not for sale. A Subscription or any other payment does not buy a position in the ordinary order, a licence indication, the removal of a flag, or any change to the facts we show.
24.3 Flags and holds. We may flag, hold, hide or remove any Listing, offer or button at any time, for example if we cannot match a Facility to a public register, if a source becomes unavailable or stale, if a register shows a type of facility we do not treat as medical, if we receive a credible complaint, or if we believe a Listing may breach law or these Terms. A flag, hold, label or missing indication describes the outcome of our own process at a point in time. It is not a finding or allegation that a Facility is unlicensed, has acted unlawfully or has done anything wrong, and we will not publish any label stating or implying that a Facility is unlicensed or acting unlawfully.
24.4 Corrections and removal. A Facility may ask us to correct its Listing, send us its licence number, or ask us to remove its Listing, using the forms on the Service or by email. We will review the request in good faith. A removal, once we approve it, hides the Listing and it does not return when we next read the source, unless the Facility asks us to restore it. Approving a removal also ends any Subscription for that Facility (see Section 28.7).
24.5 Facility responsibility for its own information. The Facility is solely responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and currency of the information it publishes on its own website and in other Official Sources, and for any information it sends us. If the information in an Official Source is wrong, the Facility should correct it there and tell us.
25. Facility obligations
Each Facility confirms and agrees that, for as long as it uses the Service:
(a) it holds, and will keep, every licence, permit and approval that applies to it, its premises, its practitioners and its services, including any facility licence from the DHA, MOHAP, DHCR or another authority, and any health-advertising permit it needs for its own promotional content;
(b) it alone is responsible for the healthcare, treatments, medicines, products and services it offers or provides, for prescribing and dispensing only in accordance with law, for the outcome of care, and for its dealings with every patient or customer who contacts it through the Service;
(c) any text, image or other content it gives us for display (including any promotional line on a claimed page, if we offer that feature) is true, lawful, approved where approval is required, not misleading, and does not infringe anyone's rights, and it grants us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, translate, format and use that content on and to promote the Service;
(d) it will treat the personal data of people who contact it through the Service as an independent controller, in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and any other applicable law, use it only to respond to the enquiry and provide the requested service, and not use it for unrelated marketing without the person's consent;
(e) it will not use the Service, lead cards or any person's contact details to send spam, to pressure or mislead anyone, or to advertise any medicine or medical product in breach of law;
(f) it will not try to manipulate the Service, including by creating artificial enquiries, inflating its own or another Facility's message counts, posting fake reviews or false information, or making false complaints or removal requests about another Facility; and
(g) it will not present its Listing, a licence indication or a "checked" date as an endorsement, certification or approval by Hudhud or by any authority.
26. Patient messages, lead cards and the claim page
26.1 How messages reach a Facility. When a person sends a message to the Hudhud Number about a Facility, we notify the Facility as described in Section 8.1: by email to the address the Facility publishes, or, if the Facility has added a WhatsApp number on its claim page, by a WhatsApp lead card. We do not pass on the person's own words. We do not guarantee the number, quality, identity, intentions, eligibility or conversion of any person who contacts a Facility, or that any person will book or pay.
26.2 Adding a WhatsApp number. By entering a WhatsApp number on the claim page and confirming, the Facility User confirms that the number belongs to the Facility and that the Facility consents to receive lead cards, confirmations, monthly statistics and service messages from the Hudhud Number at that number. The Facility can end lead cards at any time by replying STOP to the Hudhud Number.
26.3 Emails. We email a Facility's published business address about enquiries made to it through the Service and about its Listing, including its free-message count and statistics. Every email includes a way to stop further emails. Subscription offers are sent with those service emails or after a Facility claims its Listing.
26.4 Claim links. Links we send to a Facility (for example to its claim page) are for the Facility's authorised staff only. The Facility is responsible for keeping them confidential and for everything done through them. Tell us at once if you think a link has been misused.
26.5 Statistics. Any statistics we share with a Facility (such as page views, Alerts set, messages and tap-throughs) are estimates from our own records, provided for information only, and are not guaranteed to be complete or accurate.
27. Free messages
27.1 Every Facility starts with five (5) free patient messages in total (not per month), counted from its first. Messages are counted by our own systems and rules, which may change. For example, a repeat message from the same person about the same Facility within thirty (30) days is not counted, and we may decline to count, or may hold, messages we reasonably believe to be automated, abusive or duplicate. Our records of the count are final, save for manifest error.
27.2 After a Facility's five free messages have been used, the WhatsApp button is removed from that Facility's Listing unless and until it has an active Subscription. The rest of the Listing (its facts, "checked" dates, any licence indication and a link to its website) stays, at our discretion.
27.3 The free messages are a promotional allowance. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or withdrawn for new Facilities at any time.
28. Subscriptions
28.1 What a Subscription includes. While a Facility's Subscription is active, and subject to Sections 24.3 and 28.6, we show the WhatsApp button on its Listing, send it lead cards or emails for patient messages, and provide the other features we describe on the claim page at the time of purchase. A Subscription does not include or guarantee any number of messages, enquiries, patients, bookings, page views or revenue, any position in the ordinary order, any licence indication, the removal of any flag, or any change to the facts we show.
28.2 Fees. Subscription fees are as shown on the claim page when the Facility subscribes. At the date of these Terms they are AED 349 per month or AED 2,990 per year, per Facility. We may offer a founding price (currently AED 1,990 for the first year) to a Facility that subscribes before its fifth free message. Fees are stated in UAE dirhams and are exclusive of value added tax. VAT is added at the applicable rate (currently 5%) and shown on the invoice.
28.3 Payment. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing, the Facility authorises us (through Stripe) to charge the payment method it provides for the fees at the start of the Subscription and at the start of each renewal period, until it cancels. The Facility must keep its payment details current. Stripe's own terms apply to payment processing. We do not receive or store full card details.
28.4 Automatic renewal. Every Subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) for a further period of the same length, at the then-current price, until it is cancelled. A founding-price Subscription converts automatically after its first year to the yearly plan at the then-current yearly price (currently AED 2,990 per year) and renews yearly after that, unless cancelled before the end of the first year. We will email the Facility at least thirty (30) days before any yearly renewal, and before a founding-price Subscription converts, stating the date, the amount and how to cancel.
28.5 Cancellation. A Facility may cancel at any time from the "Manage or cancel" link on its claim page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the Subscription and the WhatsApp button continue until then, and no further fees are charged. When the Subscription ends, the WhatsApp button is removed from the Listing.
28.6 No refunds. Except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, all fees are non-refundable, including where a Facility cancels part-way through a period, does not use the Service, receives few or no messages, or where its button is paused or removed under Section 24.3 or Section 29. If a Listing is flagged or held, its WhatsApp button may be paused while the Subscription continues; the button returns when the flag or hold clears. If the button is paused for more than seven (7) consecutive days for a reason that is not the Facility's breach (including our own matching or source issues), we will extend the current period by the length of the pause or, if the Facility cancels, refund that part pro rata.
28.7 Removal and duplicate subscriptions. If a Facility's Listing is removed (at its request or by us), we will cancel its Subscription and no further fees are charged; if the Facility asked for the removal, fees already paid are not refunded except as required by law; if we removed the Listing, refunds follow Section 29.2. If a Facility subscribes twice by mistake, we will cancel the duplicate and refund any amount charged for it.
28.8 Failed payments. If a payment fails, we or Stripe may retry it. If payment is not made, we may suspend or end the Subscription and remove the WhatsApp button, without liability.
28.9 Price changes. We may change Subscription prices. A change applies to an existing Subscription only from its next renewal, and we will tell the Facility by email at least thirty (30) days before the renewal at which it applies. If the Facility does not want to continue at the new price, it may cancel before that renewal. A locked founding price is not changed during its first year.
28.10 Flagged Facilities. A Facility whose Listing is flagged may not start a Subscription until the flag clears. A Subscription cannot be used to remove or avoid a flag.
28.11 Sponsored placements. If we offer paid sponsored placements in future, they will be available only to Facilities we choose, will always be labelled, will never feature or relate to prescription-only medicines, will comply with applicable health-advertising rules (including any permit requirement), and will be subject to the separate terms we show when they are offered. A flag ends a sponsored placement the same day without refund.
28.12 Invoices. Invoices and receipts are issued electronically through Stripe to the email address given at checkout.
29. Suspension and termination for Facilities
29.1 We may suspend or end a Facility's access to any feature, pause or remove its WhatsApp button, end its Subscription, or remove its Listing, at any time if:
(a) the Facility breaches these Terms or fails to pay;
(b) we reasonably believe the Facility is not licensed for what it offers, is providing services unlawfully, or poses a risk to patients or to the public;
(c) a competent authority asks us to, or we reasonably believe the law requires it; or
(d) continuing would expose us to legal, regulatory or reputational risk.
29.2 If we end a Subscription under Section 29.1(a) or (b) because of the Facility's breach or unlawful conduct, no fees are refunded. In every other case, we refund the unused part of any prepaid fees.
30. Facility indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each Facility will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Hudhud Parties from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
(a) any healthcare, treatment, medicine, product or service the Facility offers, provides, prescribes, dispenses or fails to provide, and any claim by a patient or customer of the Facility;
(b) the Facility's breach of Section 25 or of any law, licence, permit or advertising rule;
(c) any information or content the Facility publishes or gives us; or
(d) the Facility's processing of personal data it receives through the Service.
31. Confidentiality
Information we share with a Facility that is not public (such as statistics, reference codes, claim links and terms we offer privately) is confidential and may be used by the Facility only for its dealings with us. A Facility must not disclose it except to its own staff and advisers who need to know it, or as required by law.
